Welcome to Gyeongnam. I am Park Wan-soo,

Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do Province.

It is with great joy that we host the Tour de Gyeongnam 2025 — where passion and challenge come together on the road, carried by a refreshing breeze.

This year is particularly meaningful, as the race joins the UCI Asia Tour calendar for the first time as a Gyeongsangnamdo-hosted event.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in preparing this event, to the athletes and team officials who have travelled great distances to be here, and to our residents across the province for their warm welcome and generous support.

The Tour de Gyeongnam 2025 offers a thrilling stage for world-class athletes to race through routes that showcase

the province’s stunning natural landscapes and deep historical heritage. Beyond a contest of speed, it will be a powerful moment of connection between global communities and local culture, between sport and people.

I hope this event will serve as a catalyst to share the beauty of Gyeongsangnam-do’s nature, culture, and spirit with the world, and to further establish the province as a leading hub for cycling in Asia.
