Distinguished athletes and officials from Korea and around the world participating in the Tour de Gyeongnam 2026, welcome to Namhae.

I am Jang Chung-nam, Mayor of Namhae County.

The Tour de Gyeongnam 2026 is a global festival for cycling enthusiasts and a valuable opportunity to showcase the beautiful nature and rich culture of Namhae and the many remarkable places throughout Gyeongnam to the world. It is truly meaningful and a great honor for us to host athletes from around the globe here in Namhae, where they will compete and demonstrate their finest skills.

Namhae is home to Hallyeohaesang National Park and is filled with renowned attractions such as Geumsan Mountain, Sangju Silver Sand Beach, Daraengi Village, and the German Village. Beyond these famous landmarks, every corner of Namhae offers breathtaking coastal scenery.

In recent years, alongside the Barae-gil and Namparang-gil walking trails, Namhae has also gained popularity as a cycling travel destination. Many visitors continue to come to enjoy the county’s uniquely peaceful and pristine atmosphere.

We hope this event will serve as an opportunity to share Namhae’s natural beauty, rich culture, and vibrant spirit of sport with the world. I wish all participants the very best as you compete with passion and peak performance.
