I sincerely welcome all athletes, officials, and cycling enthusiasts from Korea and around the world to the Sacheon Stage of the Tour de Gyeongnam 2026.

It is truly meaningful that athletes from across the globe have gathered here in Sacheon, the center of Korea’s aerospace industry, to compete in a race filled with passion and challenge.

This event is more than just a sporting competition; it is a stage for international exchange where culture and friendship come together, and an inspiring journey that pushes beyond limits.

I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to Governor Park Wan-soo of Gyeongsangnam-do, Chairman Kim Oh-young of the Gyeongsangnam-do Sports Council, Chairman Lee Sang-hyun of the Korea Cycling Federation, as well as all officials, organizing committee members, and volunteers whose generous support, dedication, and hard work have made this event possible.

Sacheon is a dynamic city where the blue South Sea, beautiful coastline, and cutting-edge aerospace industry coexist in harmony. We hope all athletes will fully demonstrate their skills along courses surrounded by Sacheon’s diverse natural scenery, and that all visitors will experience the unique charm and warm hospitality of our city.

The citizens of Sacheon have prepared wholeheartedly for the successful hosting of this event, and we will continue to do our utmost to ensure a safe and high-quality race until the very end.
